Vanilla Sugar Scoops

Permission to bake in July

2 ½ cups flour
1 ¼ cups sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
½ lb butter - softened
1 egg and 1 egg yolk
1 tsp vanilla bean paste
Mix together all of the dry and add in the butter, eggs and vanilla bean paste. Mix into a dough. Scoop with 1oz ice cream scoops. Don’t flatter. Dip into extra sugar. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 10-12 minutes until the bottoms are golden brown. Once cool, top with vanilla buttercream and sprinkles. Yum.
