Sugar Cookies

I got risky and ate the raw dough.


 




2 ½ cups flour 

2 tsp baking powder 

¾ tsp salt 

½ lb butter - softened 

1 ¼ cup sugar 

1 egg

1 egg yolk 

½ tsp vanilla bean paste 


Whisk the dry in one bowl. Beat the butter + sugar until it is creamy in another bowl. Add in the eggs + vanilla. Slowly incorporate the dry in. Roll into 1/2oz balls and roll in sugar. Bake at 350 for 5 minutes. 


This is what I did - As SOON as they come out stamp the tops with the tiny Christmas Cookie cutter so it leaves an imprint.
