Cozy and sweet - great for breakfast!
1 ½ cups oats
1 cup flour
1 ½ tsp baking powder
1 ½ tsp cinnamon
½ tsp salt
½ cup chocolate chips
½ cup dried cranberries
¼ cup apple sauce
4 TB butter - melted
1 egg
½ cup honey
cinnamon sugar - for sprinkling on top
Mix together the dry ingredients from the oats through the dried cranberries. Make a well in the middle and add in the wet ingredients from the applesauce through the honey. Scoop small balls and push down with your palm. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 12 minutes.
