Being six months pregnant and fully plant-based means I must prioritize my body’s nutritional needs now more than ever.
While I’ve become accustomed to fasting early in the day, the pregnancy means I need to eat sooner. Usually I begin my day with lemon water followed by a matcha latte at either Harbinger Cafe & Bakery or The DIME nearby on Daniel Island. The Harbinger has become one of my favorite spots to visit because of its tasty gluten-free vegan selection.
